How do I create a new Discount item?

Let's say you have a sibling, military, or other type of discount that you want to offer. Or, let's say you need to designate a credit as something other than the system default, which is a miscellaneous credit. How do you set them up?

Follow the steps below:

STEP 1:
Click on My Company

STEP 2:
Click on the Items tab and click the blue plus in the top right next the Discount Items

STEP 3:
Name it whatever you'd like and click "SAVE" (the name can be two lines)

STEP 4:
Use it in the transaction drawer as a one-time discount (this item will be available as a credit) or use it as a recurring discount category for tuition.

Change the credit type of recurring tuition charges
Select credit item you created
